Fuel Mix Disclosure
The Fuel Mix Disclosure is about the fuels used to generate electricity.
As a company, The Energy Deal has partnered with Robin Hood Energy and focuses on serving our customers rather than generating their own power. Instead, they buy from the energy market and from generators themselves across the UK. Our fuel mix reflects both the energy Robin Hood Energy buys directly and energy they buy from the market. This may not always be as green as we would like after the energy companies which own renewables and nuclear have used up their share.
Our plan is to keep decreasing the carbon emissions over time, while still offering customers best value.
All suppliers, including our partner Robin Hood Energy, are required by Ofgem to provide information about the mix of fuels used to generate the electricity supplied to customers, as well as any environmental impact.
Known as the Fuel Mix Disclosure, we must publish this information annually after we have been a supplier for 12 months. Our first Fuel Mix Disclosure will be for the period 1st April 2016 to 31st March 2017. This Fuel Mix Disclosure will be published in the summer of 2017.
